Obama, are you serious?
I just started this blog so I have to go back and comment on things that I have seen over the past couple of months in regards to politics that has made me ashamed of being an American.
Barrack Obama told us that we shouldn’t worry about immigrants learning English but our kids should learn Spanish. Fine, lets not require immigrants to learn English, we’ll just learn Spanish, and Chinese, and Vietnamese, Japanese, Korean, German, French, and many more in order to cater to immigrants. We of course want to appear to be kind hosts, and what better way of making people feel welcome than speaking their own language.
Flip Flop, Flip Off
I’m so damn tired of hearing one politician or his party call the other a flip-flopper. You know what, if flip flopping is so bad then why even have campaigns? If I was a registered deuche bag then voting for the jerk-offs would be flip-flopping, and we all know that the only thing worse then flip-flopping is… I don’t think there is anything worse in politics.
If a politician shows that he/she can use reason and gather facts and change his/her opinion then it doesn’t mean they’re flip-flopping, it means they’re human. Last time I checked we’re a pseudo-democracy in which the majority is supposed to rule. I wouldn’t care who was in office as long as they would flip-flop in order to reflect the majority of the country’s opinions. The president is a public servant, so to me that means I’m his boss. If I want him to pull out of Iraq, bomb the shit out of Iraq, or stay in Iraq for a billion years then as long as I’m a part of the majority that should be policy.
Both sides’ camps are guilty of this one, John McCain commercials, and the media is probably the worst. For now on when someone changes there mind about anything I’m screaming flip-flopper.
